this is my mom at the cemetary...on November 1 all Filipinos visit the graves of their families, clean up the debris, and place candles and flowers on them.

Then we sit around awhile, say a few prayers, and often have a snack. Usually there are vendors to sell you cool drinks and snacks etc. and the local kids are there to help you for a peso or two (and who probably come back and take the flowers to "recycle" or sell to late comers for a profit).
